Indigo Florals

Pants: Target. Top: Urban Outfitters, Coat: H&M, Heels: Zara, Necklace: Forever 21

 Hi there!

I'll have you know, that whatever windblown sex appeal you think I'm trying to give off, I also know it's not working. It was also not my intention, it just happened to be the windiest day that I have ever encountered. I even felt quite fortunate for my breakfast of carbs and, um, carbs to have helped me stay grounded.

Here's another fun fact, these pants are reversible! When is the last time something reversible was actually functional. The reverse side is just a really simple indigo denim. So I can use these as a basic, or the center piece. I felt a little giddy buying these, because, hello, I practically got two for the price of one! You can get them from Target.

Also, that black thing on my neck is a harmonica. Just saying.

Happy Hump Day

Red Carpet & Red Dress

It is now the day after The Oscars, and all my social media news feeds are flooded with fashion recaps. Who cares who won, let's talk about who wore what..right?

Ok, Some of us care who won, but can we still talk about the dresses? ok, then...

First, let's talk about what I am wearing.

My boyfriend and I went to an Oscars party that was black tie themed. We both took this opportunity to dress to the nines. Bow tie, red dress. done and done.
The party was equipping with prizes during boring commercial breaks, delicious libations, and even a best dressed award (given to Abraham Lincoln).
It was perfection.

Now to my personal opinions of best dressed:

Who was your opinion of best dressed?

Stripes & Cut Offs

Vest: Urban Outfitters, Top: H&M-old  Sandals: Prabal Gurung for Target,
Bag: Urban Outfitters (old-Similar style here!) Shorts: Citizens of Humanity
Bracelet: Tiffany & CO

As I mentioned in my last post, I attended the Northern Trust Open this last weekend (that's golf, fyi)
This is what I wore for day two. I was a bit more prepared than day one. Shorts in attempt for some color on my legs (didn't work), and a long sleeve for the shade. Not rocket science.

BUT, the best part was obviously my Prabal Gurung for Target sandals.
I haven't taken them off since!
BTW, Just got my tickets for Lucky FABB West!
SO excited!!
Are you guys going to be there?

Top: Forever 21. Skirt: ASOS (love this lace version), Bag: ASOS (love this TopShop one too!), Pumps: Cathy Jean (Love these ALDO ones too!), Necklace: Urban Outfitters, Bracelet: Tiffany & CO.

Hello Lovelies!

I spent my weekend with my boyfriend in Santa Monica for the Northern Trust Open, which is a fairly massive golf tournament. I'm not a big golf player, but my boyfriend Is and so I got him the tickets for Valentines Day. If I don't get some awesome girlfriend credits from that one, than I give up.

I wore this coral top and tulip skirt out to dinner after day one of the tournament. We went to Sugarfish off the promenade. Seriously Best. Sushi. EVER. Then Made our way to Hooters for some drinks. I don't know how that happened.
Overall, I had a blast, and some how woke up totally ready for day two of the tournament.

Check back later to see what I wore for day two!

Hearts & Polka Dots

Dress: Target, Sweater: Sparkle & Fade -Via Urban Outfitters,  Bag: ASOS (on sale!),

OH Valentines day, you either love it, or hate it. I love it for two particular reasons. I get to cheese out in an obnoxiously red get up, and snack on all the pink and red treats my little heart desires.
Oh yea, and then there's the love part, I like that too!

Yesterday I grabbed some of the Prabal Gurung for Target gear, and incidentally bought these red wedges, which were perfect for today. I also grabbed this dress form Target while I was there.
My quick target trip was intended for a Lunchable only (don't you dare judge me), but in typical Target fashion I rang up one mighty large tab.

Also, If you follow me on Instagram (@kellenhofer) you saw a preview of some treats I was working on. They came out adorable (and delicious!). Red and purple heart cookies filled with some creme cheese frosting. YUM!

Happy Valentines day,
From my closet to yours

Blocked & Loaded

Sweater: F21 (love this Splendid version), Vest: BDG - Urban Outfitters, Pants: Joe's (old),
Heels: Blink

 OH yay. It's Monday.

Well it went from decently warm to freezing (60 is freezing right?). So, I started back up the layering game. Sweater, vest, jeans with holes (that's a bit counter productive) and the cutest heels in my closet right meow.

So it doesn't really make sense, but I like it anyway, aaaand I'm pretty sure thats the point.

Anyway, hope you all had a fantastic Weekend, and Happy Chinese New Year!
Go snakes!

Denim &Flowers

Dress: Thistlepearl -via UO, Jacket: Levi's, Headband: Urban Outfitters, Wedges: Steve Madden
Bag: H&M -old (love this one too!)

These photos were taken the morning of the super bowl. My boyfriend and I got a delish breakfast at the cutest place in Corona Del Mar. I had full intentions of getting a bloody Mary  yet somehow coffee took control of that situation real fast. I think in hind sight it was beneficial to the rest of my day to have skipped that first drink. My Monday morning brain would support that theory also.

Back to the point, It was such a beautiful Sunday morning I couldn't resist taking a few shots...the camera kind. And, after, I noticed we even go some pictures of the sail boats floating by, and I got really excited. It's the little things.

Looking at these are helping with this inevitable Wednesday.

P.s Can we all just appreciate my eyebrows for a moment. They have been feeling very neglected lately.

Here's to Iced Tea....

Sweater: Kaitlyn's (super similar style here), Pants: Flying Monkey (similar style), Boots: Dolce Vita (Love these too!) Top: F21, Necklace: Urban Renewal

"Is it still January", I asked my mom (last weekend) in response to her asking how my resolution was going . Clearly being facetious, as we were in one of my favorite boutiques, and I holding this amazing sweater.

It's February (finally) and I can now look back and on my January resolution, of no shopping, and admit a complete fail. Not once, not twice, but, well I'd rather not say how many times (but seriously, how great is this sweater?)

I'd considered the first month of resolutions a wash, but that doesn't mean the remaining 11 months will be a total fail.
This month= No soda.

Since my daily routine includes an afternoon diet coke, it may be hard...and I might be really sleepy, but I think I can do it.

Here's to a LOT of iced tea.

XO,

Kellen...
